Who is Craig Preedy?

Hi, I'm Craig. I'm the co-founder of Instruct IQ and The PDI School, creator of the KEEP Principle, co-creator of the award-winning IQ GPT Suite, and author of From Winging It to Working It. I've been a Grade A Approved Driving Instructor since 2008 and, throughout my career, I've remained passionate about helping instructors develop the knowledge, confidence and frameworks they need to perform at their best.

Over the years I've been fortunate to achieve seven RoSPA Gold awards, become an IAM member and a Fellow of the ARRM. While I'm proud of those achievements, they've reinforced something I've always believed: lasting professional development isn't about collecting qualifications, it's about understanding why something works and applying it consistently in the real world.

That belief led me to develop the KEEP Principle, a structured framework designed to help instructors move beyond relying on instinct and towards purposeful, reflective practice.

Together with Josh, I've helped build The PDI School around that same philosophy. We believe the future of instructor development lies in combining proven coaching principles, reflective practice and intelligent technology, not to replace the instructor, but to support better thinking, better decisions and better outcomes.

I don't believe there is a shortcut to becoming a great instructor. Real development comes from curiosity, reflection and a willingness to keep learning.

That belief led me to create the KEEP Principle, the framework that underpins much of what we do within The PDI School.
